I've never been on a zip line before so wasn't sure what would happen. The staff here are great! Sam & Logan were our guides - they made sure our harnesses & gear were on correctly. Then they gave us a quick lesson on how they would connect us to the cables & how to brake. They were both very professional in those aspects - following the procedures for themselves (they were with us the whole time) just as they did for us. I felt perfectly safe with them. We did the original canopy tour. It was about a 3 hour experience start to finish and well worth the $90 each.!
We have done this tour twice. First time just my husband and I went. It was so awesome we brought our daughters and grandchildren down the following summer to go on it. Had a group of 12. Everyone loved the tour.
Had an amazing time on the canopy tour. Our group was only 4 people and 2 guides which was rare. The guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. The ziplines we're exhilarating. They also take safety very seriously and I always felt safe even while hundreds of feet in the air around a tree. I definitely recommend this experience to everyone!
Alec and Logan were our guides on the X-Tour. Neither my wife nor I had zip-lined before. Our guides did a great job of joking around and having everyone lose any nervous feeling very quickly. The X-Tour is a beautiful course. A couple in their 60s and the teens on our tour all handled it just fine. If you're healthy and in even moderately good shape you'll be fine. This experience isn't all that extreme, it's a moderate thrill with beautiful views. You'd have to ignore all instructions and be purposely careless to get hurt.
The hocking hills canopy tours is so much fun with the most friendly staff. If they ask you who you would prefer you should tell or ask if you can get Em&Em she is so nice and funny she called me pinky because my shirt was pink.
